The event will examine the issue of HIV/Aids in Brazil and the Caribbean and DfID's work with partnering institutions in the region. Dr. Carlos Passarelli, Director of the International Centre for Technical Cooperation at the Ministry of Health of Brazil will present on the successes of his country's flagship National Programme. Representatives of the International HIV/Aids Alliance will detail their integral role and will provide regional overviews.
