Natural Resources and Development in Peru

Canning House and the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) invite you to a panel discussion on the role of mining in Peru on Monday 21st July at 6 p.m. followed by a drinks reception, at Canning House. The discussion, chaired by Sir Mark Moody-Stuart, Chairman of Anglo American plc, will showcase the outcomes of a recent workshop, held in Lima and attended by the Peruvian Prime Minister Mr Jorge del Castillo, which demonstrated how industry is encouraging stakeholders to work together to ensure the country obtains the full benefit from mineral resource investment.

Participants will include HE Ricardo Luna, Ambassador of Peru, and Renato Amorim, Director of International Affairs of Vale. The panel discussion will be followed by a drinks reception.
